Thank you to the many photographers who have registered for the contest and uploaded photos to the exhibition website.
 

Photographers who have not yet done so should be aware that there is only one week left until the competition deadline, at midnight on August 31, 2023. After the deadline you will no longer be able to upload photos or edit your portfolio.
 

Creators of video works should register on the website no later than August 31, 2023, but files may be uploaded up to September 5, 2023.
 

Instructions for submitting photos and video works can be found in the instructing guide on the website.

Cash prizes to a total of ₪40,000 will be awarded to the photographers of the winning works.

Prizes will be awarded to the photographers of Photo of the Year, Series of the Year and Video of the Year. The “Shomrim Prize” will also be awarded, in recognition of a contribution towards the preservation of democracy.
Each prize will be to the sum of ₪10,000.

Local Testimony is the only exhibition of photojournalism and documentary photography in Israel, and has acquired a high reputation over the years, by photographers and for photographers.
