According to data of the Ministry of Health, there are currently 4,500 AIDS carriers and patients in Israel. The Committee for the War on AIDS is a nonprofit organization that has already worked for over 20 years to strengthen awareness of the disease, promote the rights of the patients, and improve the quality of life of those who have caught the HIV virus.
