Gili Leibushor, mother of Sgt. Yael Leibushor who served as a field observer in the Nahal Oz outpost, visiting the command center where her daughter was killed. Yael survived about five hours of battle together with other soldiers until the Hamas terrorists set fire to the headquarters. Seven soldiers managed to escape and the remaining 15 men and women were killed in the battle for the command center. 53 soldiers were killed on that day defending the Nahal Oz outpost, and seven field observers and three soldiers of the Armored Corps were abducted.
