The shadows of ultra-orthodox and soldiers in the Palestinian village of Kifl Haris. In this village there is a building traditionally identified as the tomb of the biblical Joshua, and every few months thousands of worshippers congregate there for a Hilula (festive celebration) in his honor. During the Hilula a curfew is imposed on the village. The residents are compelled to take refuge in their homes while the worshippers
roam around the village, guarded by hundreds of soldiers and Border Police.
